Isojoen Saha produces high-quality sawn timber from Finnish softwood which has been grown in responsibly managed forests in the sawmill’s neighbouring area. We produce both traditional sawn timber and special products. The manufacturing process begins in the forest, where we cut and sort the timber according to your specifications. At the sawmill, we tailor the timber according to your wishes:

The latest sawmill technology ensures high-quality timber

Isojoen Saha uses fully automated equipment to saw and dry the timber. We always check the product’s final quality visually. The final result is completely tailored sawn timber.

Isojoen Saha’s production equipment:

• Log sorting: 3D x-ray measuring, 70 pockets per wood species
• Sawing technique: a profiling circular saw line and hew saw line
• Drying technique: 15 chamber kilns and 3 channel kilns
• Dry sorting: dry and strength sorting based on machine vision
