The Isojoki EUDR Project Proceeds as Planned

Our project team continues to monitor the development of the EUDR regulation and is actively involved in creating the necessary tools and processes. Our project is progressing as planned to ensure we are ready when the regulation comes into force.

The regulation was originally set to take effect on December 30, 2025. However, the EU Commission has recently proposed a one-year postponement of the implementation date. We are actively monitoring this development and will provide updates on any changes to the timeline.

Regardless of the final date, we continue to align our operating models with the regulation’s requirements. We already collect the necessary data and know the origin of our raw materials. This project formalizes our existing practices into a regulation-compliant due diligence system.

Going forward, we will provide our customers with a due diligence (DD) number for our products, obtained from the EU’s TRACES system, included with sales documents. This number will allow both us and the supervising authority in Finland (the Finnish Food Authority, Ruokavirasto) to verify the raw material’s origin.
